Ametherm Announces Distribution Agreement With Rhopoint Components
CARSON CITY, Nev. — Oct. 14, 2014 — Ametherm today announced a distribution agreement with Rhopoint Components Ltd., a leading U.K.-based distributor of precision electronic components and sensor products. Under the terms of the agreement, Rhopoint Components is now carrying and providing technical support for Ametherm’s entire lineup of inrush current limiters and NTC thermistors throughout Europe.
Since 1975, Rhopoint Components has been meeting the exacting demands for precision components in a variety of markets, from aerospace to renewable energy. As part of its offering, the company has been carrying the SURGE-GARD™ series of inrush current limiting thermistors and NTC surface-mount, chip, and disc thermistors that Ametherm acquired from Measurement Specialties Inc. (formerly RTI Electronics) in 2013. By adding Ametherm’s full product offering to its lineup, Rhopoint Components is providing its customers with a single source for all of their protection needs.
Made in the U.S.A., all Ametherm products are recognized by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA International) for ensured safety, and many are RoHS-2-certified (with Exemption 7a and 7(c)-1). The devices are optimized for a wide range of applications, including AC motors, power supplies, motor drives, audio amplifiers, battery chargers, air sensors, HVAC systems, high-speed computers, MRIs, and X-ray machines.
