Ametherm Expands U.S. Rep Network, Signs Agreements With L&W Power Corp, Southeast Power Components, and C&N Associates
CARSON CITY, Nev. — Sept. 23, 2014 — Ametherm today announced that it has expanded its network of value-added representatives in the United States with the conclusion of three new agreements. Effective immediately, L&W Power Corp, Southeast Power Components Inc., and C&N Associates are offering Ametherm’s entire lineup of inrush current limiters and NTC thermistors in the Midwest U.S., Southeast U.S., and Southern California, respectively.
Representing Ametherm in Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin, L&W Power Corp has been providing a wide range of electronics components to the Midwest since 1982. Founded in 1986, Southeast Power Components serves a variety of markets — including telecommunications, alternate energy, and transportation — and will represent Ametherm in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. Specializing in power conversion and power protection since 1970, C&N Associates will represent Ametherm in the Los Angeles area reaching from San Luis Obispo through San Diego County.
All three representatives will be carrying Ametherm’s complete product offering, including the SURGE-GARD™ series of inrush current limiting thermistors and NTC surface-mount, chip, and disc thermistors acquired from Measurement Specialties Inc. (formerly RTI Electronics). Made in the U.S.A., all Ametherm products are recognized by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA International) for ensured safety, and many are RoHS-2-certified (with Exemption 7a and 7(c)-1). The devices are optimized for a wide range of applications, including AC motors, power supplies, motor drives, audio amplifiers, battery chargers, air sensors, HVAC systems, high-speed computers, MRIs, and X-ray machines.
“With our continuing growth, the strengthening of our representative network is an important step in servicing our expanding customer base in the U.S.,” said Mehdi Samii, vice president of sales and engineering at Ametherm. “L&W Power, Southeast Power Components, and C&N Associates are perfect fits for Ametherm, as their line cards form a good synergy with our products and they have each experienced decades of success in a range of markets. We’re looking forward to working with them as we continue to expand our product lineup.”
